Check out some of my favorite looks from the past couple of days.
Of course lately I have A LOT of time on my hands. Either with job searching, networking and enjoying my new surroundings. I LOVE going to Seattle and exploring and just being in the city. I don’t have the luxury of being only 15mins from a major city like I did back in MD (Downtown DC was only 15mins away), but I don’t mind the drive to Seattle. I always make it an all day outing when I go to the city. Since I am new there are tons to do and see. I still have A LOT of things and places to go to and check off my list.
This was my first time attending the ballet and I loved it!
I took these photos on a visit to Richmond, VA. And you can’t miss a photo opt when a background like this is present! The entire wall was covered with abstract art and so many beautiful colors. You can’t tell from the photos but it was raining so we had to snap the pics quick lol. Check it out!
When I saw this cute oversized sweater in the store, I just HAD TO HAVE IT! Super cute and comfy. I LOVE the spike detailing. It makes the sweater a bit more edgy.
I have been gradually working on my fall and winter wardrobe. I have been able to pick up some very nice essential pieces and some trendy accessories at wonderful prices (I love sales and online promo codes! 🙂 You will see from my look book that my style changes just like the forecast. I love to layer up for the colder months for a cute and cozy look.
Statement necklaces are great for adding that extra pop to any outfit. Lately I have been mad about bold and pretty necklaces. The great thing about them is that you can wear them with a crewneck sweater, a dress and even an oxford shirt. And don’t worry if the necklace seems a bit dressy, that is the fun part! Add a little glam to that plain t-shirt or sweater and trust me you will love how it looks!
I absolutely love wearing flats and lately loafers have been my favorite! I like wearing heels too but I’m a chill laid back kind of gal. So I’m more than likely in a cute pair of flats. I’m on the hunt for some new loafers to add to my shoe collection (especially a leopard pair since my old ones are well…..OLD)
Have a look at my outfit of choice for my great-grandmother’s 90th birthday celebration. How can you not love animal prints. I adore them! 🙂
I am SO EXCITED to be celebrating 1 year of blogging! YAY! I have learned so much about myself since I started my blog. I’ve discovered my passions, likes and dislikes and even discovered some of my hidden talents. Blogging has really helped to get my creative juices flowing. I am simply amazed at what I have accomplished and the new skills I have developed. I have always been a creative person and one to think outside the box, but since I’ve been blogging light bulbs continuously pop up over my head!
