Check out some of my favorite looks from the past couple of days.
Valentine’s Day is tomorrow and it’s not too late to pick out that perfect outfit for the Day of LOVE:-) You can be spending the day with your honey, family, your girlfriends or whoever. Go ahead and get dolled up, take lots of pics and enjoy yourself! And if you’re single, don’t worry if your are spending Valentine’s Day alone. Just because you are single DOES NOT mean you can’t celebrate too! Refer to my post “Enjoy Your Own Company“and you will see being single in a totally different light.
I have come up with some cute outfit ideas for Valentine’s Day for you all! Exciting! Red is the color for this season (we have been seeing it a lot on and off the red carpet), so why not be a little festive for the Love Day 🙂 Red is sexy, fiery and sultry. Just about everyone can pull off wearing red!I love a nice red lip (Russian Red by MAC is my go to shade lately) and pretty red nail polish. Have a look at the outfits I came up with.
When I saw this cute oversized sweater in the store, I just HAD TO HAVE IT! Super cute and comfy. I LOVE the spike detailing. It makes the sweater a bit more edgy.
I have been gradually working on my fall and winter wardrobe. I have been able to pick up some very nice essential pieces and some trendy accessories at wonderful prices (I love sales and online promo codes! 🙂 You will see from my look book that my style changes just like the forecast. I love to layer up for the colder months for a cute and cozy look.
I absolutely love wearing flats and lately loafers have been my favorite! I like wearing heels too but I’m a chill laid back kind of gal. So I’m more than likely in a cute pair of flats. I’m on the hunt for some new loafers to add to my shoe collection (especially a leopard pair since my old ones are well…..OLD)
I have never been the cardigan and slacks kind of gal when it comes to putting together my outfit for work. Not saying that I don’t love a cute cardi, but I refuse to have a Charlie Brown closet. Besides, who made the rule that “business casual” had to be boring??
My first DIY involving clothing and let me tell you, it was a challenge for me. Took about 2 days for me to finish due to my hectic schedule, but I am some what pleased with them. I am definitely packing these with me when I go to Orlando this weekend. I’m so Patriotic!
Use a razor or box cutter to distress your shorts. You can distress them as much as YOU want. Have fun!
Be careful not to cut the areas where you will place your bandana.
Grab your fabric glue and outline around the seams with glue. It’s ok to put dabs of glue in the middle on the side you will put the stars since it will not show through as much.
Cut the stars section from your bandana and place it on the shorts and press down gently. I let it dry over night just to be safe.
Once dry, grab your scissors and cut the edges of the bandana as close to the seams of the short as possible.
Now you are ready to do the other side. Just repeat the same steps for this side.
I had to double up on my stripes side because the glue was showing through.
I will be sure to post how I styled them for your guys!
Please do not use a REAL FLAG.
I purchased the Bandana and Fabric Glue from my local Craft store.

WOW! I can’t believe how fast the summer is going by. Fall is literally right around the corner. I’m not looking forward to packing up my cute summer dresses, shorts and sandals, but fall shopping is always fun! It’s Bittersweet.
Here are some of my favorite fall trends this year.
This summer I made a promise to myself….WEAR MORE DRESSES. It’s not that I don’t have a TON of dresses, just that summer comes along and I never get a chance to wear them all. If only summer were longer. sigh.
