Check out some of my favorite looks from the past couple of days.
OOh boy, am I excited about the beautiful weather we have been experiencing in the Pacific Northwest! Seattle gets its share of rain (what else is new), but when the sun is out, WOW! That’s all I can say. Beautiful weather is my cue to break out the cute flats, jackets and accessories! Check out a few of my looks from the week!
Valentine’s Day is tomorrow and it’s not too late to pick out that perfect outfit for the Day of LOVE:-) You can be spending the day with your honey, family, your girlfriends or whoever. Go ahead and get dolled up, take lots of pics and enjoy yourself! And if you’re single, don’t worry if your are spending Valentine’s Day alone. Just because you are single DOES NOT mean you can’t celebrate too! Refer to my post “Enjoy Your Own Company“and you will see being single in a totally different light.
I have come up with some cute outfit ideas for Valentine’s Day for you all! Exciting! Red is the color for this season (we have been seeing it a lot on and off the red carpet), so why not be a little festive for the Love Day 🙂 Red is sexy, fiery and sultry. Just about everyone can pull off wearing red!I love a nice red lip (Russian Red by MAC is my go to shade lately) and pretty red nail polish. Have a look at the outfits I came up with.
I took a trip to Target and Michael’s to pick up a few things to help me organize my girly necessities. I get tired of digging for my makeup brushes in my cosmetic bag, or leaving my Q-tips in that huge unattractive box. Have a look at how I created some simply chic organization for myself. 🙂
I took these photos on a visit to Richmond, VA. And you can’t miss a photo opt when a background like this is present! The entire wall was covered with abstract art and so many beautiful colors. You can’t tell from the photos but it was raining so we had to snap the pics quick lol. Check it out!
When I saw this cute oversized sweater in the store, I just HAD TO HAVE IT! Super cute and comfy. I LOVE the spike detailing. It makes the sweater a bit more edgy.
I have been gradually working on my fall and winter wardrobe. I have been able to pick up some very nice essential pieces and some trendy accessories at wonderful prices (I love sales and online promo codes! 🙂 You will see from my look book that my style changes just like the forecast. I love to layer up for the colder months for a cute and cozy look.
Statement necklaces are great for adding that extra pop to any outfit. Lately I have been mad about bold and pretty necklaces. The great thing about them is that you can wear them with a crewneck sweater, a dress and even an oxford shirt. And don’t worry if the necklace seems a bit dressy, that is the fun part! Add a little glam to that plain t-shirt or sweater and trust me you will love how it looks!
I absolutely love wearing flats and lately loafers have been my favorite! I like wearing heels too but I’m a chill laid back kind of gal. So I’m more than likely in a cute pair of flats. I’m on the hunt for some new loafers to add to my shoe collection (especially a leopard pair since my old ones are well…..OLD)
