I’m sure we’ve all at some point during our childhood read books by Dr. Seuss. It was either Green Eggs and Ham, 1 Fish 2 Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, Hop on Pop and so many other favorites. As children we didn’t really get the meaning sometimes behind those stories. To us, they were fun to read because of the funny little rhymes and the silly looking characters. But, those stories gave us perspectives on life and not being afraid to be yourself.
So I took a major hiatus (by accident) from blogging. For me to not have a full time job, I sure am pretty busy all the time LOL. (Hey you learn to laugh and be optimistic during trying times). Since I’ve moved to the Seattle area, I have made a ton of new friends, volunteered at the humane society for a bit and just enjoying myself. I post pretty frequently on Instagram my life adventures, but let me bring you up to speed. My whereabouts, style and whatever in between!
Thanks for hanging in there with me! I’m BAAAACCCCCCCCKKKKK!!!!

The perfect place to be on a beautiful summer night is a rooftop with a view honey! Lately I enjoy going to the rooftop at Hard Rock Seattle. It isn’t the tallest but, it has a good view that overlooks Pike Place Market. Very nice at night too! Here are a couple of fits I wore the times I visited.
I love the 4th of July! It’s my favorite holiday (yes, I love it more than my own birthday). I don’t know why. Maybe because it’s in the peak of summer, it’s hot, there are cookouts, festivities and tons of fun stuff to do on the 4th. And FIREWORKS! (so romantical lol). This was my first year that I wasn’t on the Eastcoast for the 4th. Seattle had a lot of fun things to do for the 4th all throughout the city. I spent it at South Lake Union. Went to happy hour, hung around downtown until the Fireworks show. South Lake Union was packed with people, music and good vibes. I really enjoyed myself.
So, I have decided to spend my summer getting my read on! As you all know, I LOVE books! I recently started a part-time gig at my local library. Let’s just say I’m in book heaven! Of course I am the only dweeb to have like 22 books checked out at once (hehe, or maybe not :-P). Then I came up with the idea of doing a monthly summer reading list. Each month during the summer I will share with you guess what books I am reading for the month. The list will include Fiction and NonFiction books from different genres. I’m so excited! Here is my Summer Reading List for June!
